1. What Information Do We Collect?

Personal information you disclose to us

In short: we collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register on the Services, express interest in our products, participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise contact us. Depending on your interactions, this may include:

  • names
  • phone numbers
  • email addresses
  • usernames
  • debit/credit card numbers
  • billing addresses
  • mailing addresses

Sensitive information: we do not process sensitive information.

Payment data: we may collect data necessary to process payments, such as your payment instrument number and associated security code. All payment data is handled and stored by Stripe. Please review their privacy notice for details.

Social media login data: we may let you register using an existing social media account. If you do, we collect certain profile information from that provider as described under How Do We Handle Your Social Logins?

All personal information you provide must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes.

Information automatically collected

In short: some information — such as your IP address, browser, and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.

This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, and other technical information. We collect it primarily to maintain security and operation of the Services and for internal analytics and reporting. We also collect information through cookies and similar technologies, including:

  • Log and usage data — service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect, including IP address, device info, browser type and settings, activity (timestamps, pages/files viewed, searches, feature usage), and device event information (system activity, error reports, hardware settings).
  • Device data — information about the computer, phone, or tablet you use, including IP address, device/application IDs, location, browser type, hardware model, ISP/carrier, operating system, and system configuration.
  • Location data — precise or imprecise device location, which may use GPS or IP-based geolocation. You can opt out via your device’s location settings, though some features may then be unavailable.

Google API

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Information collected from other sources

In short: we may collect limited data from public databases, marketing partners, social media platforms, and other outside sources.

To enhance our ability to provide relevant marketing, offers, and services, and to keep our records updated, we may obtain information from public databases, joint marketing partners, affiliate programs, data providers, social media platforms, and other third parties — including mailing addresses, job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, intent/behavior data, IP addresses, and social media profile information, for targeted advertising and event promotion.

If you interact with us on a social media platform using your social account, we receive personal information from that platform (such as name, email, and gender). You may have the right to withdraw consent — see Withdrawing Your Consent.

2. How Do We Process Your Information?

In short: we process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, prevent fraud and ensure security, and comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.

We process your personal information for reasons including:

  • To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage user accounts.
  • To respond to user inquiries / offer support.
  • To fulfill and manage your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges.
  • To request feedback and contact you about your use of our Services.
  • To send you marketing and promotional communications in accordance with your preferences. You can opt out at any time — see What Are Your Privacy Rights?
  • To deliver targeted advertising tailored to your interests, location, and more.
  • To post testimonials, which may contain personal information.
  • To protect our Services, including fraud monitoring and prevention.
  • To evaluate and improve our Services, products, marketing, and your experience.
  • To identify usage trends and better understand how our Services are used.
  • To determine the effectiveness of our marketing and promotional campaigns.

3. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?

In short: we may share information in specific situations and with specific third parties.

We may need to share your personal information when:

  • Business transfers — in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or part of our business by another company.

4. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?

In short: we may use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store your information.

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons and pixels) to gather information when you interact with our Services. Some help us maintain security, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save preferences, and assist with basic site functions. We also permit third parties and service providers to use online tracking technologies for analytics and advertising, including tailoring ads to your interests or sending abandoned cart reminders.

To the extent these technologies are deemed a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable US state laws, you can opt out as described under Do United States Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?

Google Analytics

We may share your information with Google Analytics to track and analyze use of the Services. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across the Services, visit the Google Analytics opt-out page. For more on Google’s privacy practices, see the Google Privacy & Terms page.

5. How Do We Handle Your Social Logins?

In short: if you register or log in using a social media account, we may have access to certain information about you.

Where you choose to register or log in using a third-party social account (e.g., Facebook or X), we receive certain profile information from that provider — often including your name, email address, friends list, profile picture, and other public information. We use this only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your information by the social media provider; we recommend reviewing their privacy notice.

6. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

In short: we keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law (e.g., tax or accounting requirements). No purpose in this notice requires us to keep your personal information longer than the period during which you have an account with us.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it, or, if that isn’t possible (e.g., stored in backup archives), securely store and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

7. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

In short: we aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed 100% secure, so we cannot promise that unauthorized third parties will never defeat our security. Transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk; you should only access the Services within a secure environment.

8. Do We Collect Information From Minors?

In short: we do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to that minor’s use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from a user under 18 has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete that data. If you become aware of any such data, contact us at mxtdancestudio@gmail.com.

9. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

In short: you may review, change, or terminate your account at any time, depending on your country, province, or state of residence.

Opting out of marketing communications: you can unsubscribe at any time by replying “STOP” or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to our SMS messages, or by contacting us. You will be removed from marketing lists, though we may still send service-related messages necessary for account administration.

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing with subcontractors for support services (e.g., customer service) is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text-message originator opt-in data and consent — that information is never shared with third parties.

Account Information

To review, change, or terminate your account, log in to your account settings and update your user account. Upon request to terminate, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases, though we may retain some information to prevent fraud, troubleshoot, assist with investigations, enforce our legal terms, or comply with legal requirements.

Cookies: most browsers accept cookies by default; you can set your browser to remove or reject them, which may affect certain features of our Services.

Questions about your privacy rights? Email mxtdancestudio@gmail.com.

10. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized, so we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. California law requires us to disclose this; if a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.

11. Do United States Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?

In short: if you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have the right to request access to, correct, obtain a copy of, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw your consent to our processing of it.
